Role to be Filled: Full/part Time Pastor (please note there is a 4 bed Manse available with this role)
Who We Are: Thurso Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming multicultural congregation in a coastal town at the top of the ‘North Coast 500’.
The Church has around 50 members with an additional 20+ people attending regularly. Our current Pastor is retiring, and we are seeking a pastor to work with our deacons in the oversight of the church.

What we are looking for: We are looking for candidates whose lives reflect the biblical character and qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9
Key Responsibilities and Characteristics:
- A man of prayer and one who walks closely with his Saviour to provide an example and encouragement for others to do the same.
- Possess a suitable theological qualification that demonstrates sound doctrine and biblical knowledge.
- A strong ability to teach, communicate effectively, and preach the word of God.
- To encourage the congregation to develop and use their spiritual and practical gifts.
- To lead services with others, to support and nurture home groups, and lead a pastoral care team.
- An approachable personality, with a heart for the community, to engage with a diverse range of people.
