Welcome to Thurso Baptist Church
In the light of the new Government advice regarding Coronavirus, the Baptist Union of Scotland recommended that church gatherings should be suspended until further notice. This includes Sunday worship and other meetings and events on church premises.
We need to play our full part, along with the whole community, in reducing the rate of infection. At this moment, this is what it means to love our neighbours as ourselves.
So what does Church look like? We have closed the building but remember the Church is not always the physical building but us the people.
Whilst our building is not being used the following events will occur: –
⇒ Tuesday at 10am – weekly Bible Study
⇒ Thursday at 10am – short (5 minute) audio reflection
⇒ Sunday at 10.30am – weekly Sermon on TBC Youtube channel
Click on the underlined link above to go to the event you want.

We extend a warm welc ome to visitors with us, we hope to be a welcoming, open congregation when you come along. Please feel free to be yourself and join in where you are comfortable. We meet together to worship on Sunday mornings at 10.30am. On the 1st Sunday of each month at 6.30pm there is an evening service in the church for worship and teaching. We also normally meet on the 3rd Sunday in the month for a time of communion and prayer in a home at 6.30pm. We celebrate Communion on the 1st Sunday morning of each month, and the last Sunday of the month is usually a Family service. Junior Church, for 3 to 11/12 year olds, meets during part of the morning service on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month during term-time. Various fellowship groups normally meet during the week for study and prayer:-
