Welcome to Thurso Baptist Church

In the light of the new Government advice regarding Coronavirus, the Baptist Union of Scotland recommended that church gatherings should be suspended until further notice. This includes Sunday worship and other meetings and events on church premises.

We need to play our full part, along with the whole community, in reducing the rate of infection. At this moment, this is what it means to love our neighbours as ourselves.

So what does Church look like? We have closed the building but remember the Church is not always the physical building but us the people.

Whilst our building is not being used the following events will occur: –
⇒  Sunday at 10.30am  –    weekly Service on Thurso Baptist Church Youtube channel

Click on the underlined link above to go to the event you want.

Why Believe in Jesus?

John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus the Messiah), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
John 1:10 - 12 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognise Him. He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
John 3:16 - 18 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
